Raven and her team made my wedding day run seamlessly! I hired Raven for her month of coordinating. She is very professional, but still shows you her great personality when working with her. She listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted and gave her expertise and suggestions where needed. She always responded to emails and text efficiently. She completely took over all responsibilities a month before my wedding. As a very organized, involved and hands on bride, I felt confident handing everything over and trusting her with the remainder of the process after meeting with her. She worked well with all of my vendors and communicated with them in a timely manner. I did not know about any of the small hiccups that occurred on my wedding day with vendors. Everything was on schedule (which was very important to me). Her team, Kayla, Ashley, and Gabrielle were awesome! They made sure my family and I were taken care of and comfortable the entire day and evening! If I could go back, I would have hired Raven as a full wedding coordinator!!

Raven was literally the best planner. I could not have planned my wedding without her. She was literally there for every step of the way from when I picked my dress to making sure the food was just right at the food tasting. I vividly remember having a melt down when picking up my dress at the final alteration. I texted her and she literally dropped everything she was doing just to get to get the dress shop so she could see the dress and give advice on how to fix what I was upset about. She kept up with my budget and went back to the drawing board when needed. She constantly reassured me and kept my stress levels low. She was also a bride in 2023 so she always knew exactly how I felt and the stress of being a bride. She had assistants the day of the wedding who literally did not leave our sides. They were there fixing every little thing that would go wrong. It was such a beautiful and stress free day. Raven literally became family to us. I’ve told my husband how much I missed her because she was always available and there to listen to any problems concerns. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone!

I used A Rae of Light for my June 9 wedding and she was wonderful! I hired her partial planning service and it ended up being exactly what I needed, as a fairly self-driven type A bride who did not live in the city (Birmingham) where my wedding was happening. Raven served as essential eyes and ears throughout the process. She had great recommendations for venues and vendors, and was able to use her connections to get some discounts and deals for us, which as a budget-conscious bride I really appreciated!!! She also gave us a great recommendation for our afterparty, and was extremely patient as I went back-and-forth on whether to implement our heat plan (ended up going with our Plan A and it was beautiful!). Most importantly, she communicated well with us and helped implement our vision for what we wanted for the wedding rather than imposing her ideas. The wedding day was amazingly stress-free and it was all because of her! I highly highly recommend working with her!
